Born in Lapovo, Serbian artist Milan Miletic attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. He lives and works as a freelance artist in Gornji Milanovac. He published his first work in Politikin Zabavnik. He then worked for Decje Novine, Forum, Dnevnik and Oslobodenje. Miletic has also done many book illustrations for the publisher BIGZ. He comics are mainly in the western and historical adventure genres, such as his long running serials 'Kociz' and 'Larami'. Other comics by Miletic are 'Knez Vojislav', 'Ratnici iz Arkone', 'Divlji Bil' and stories with 'Tarzan'. As a painter, he has exhibited his work extensively, and he has won several national and international awards.
