A former Disney artist, Vernon Miller was the creator of 'Iron Man', the first Canadian superhero. Not to be confused with the Marvel character, 'Iron Man' first appeared in Maple Leaf's Better Comics #1. Just like many superheroes of the time, 'Iron Man' fought the Nazis. The comic was the first to appear after the Canadian ban on US comics. |
