Zoé Enfant Terrible by Roland Moisan

Roland Moisan was a French artist and journalist. Born in Reims, he attended the Superior National School of Decorative Arts in Paris from 1927. After his military service, he began working as an illustrator for a medical magazine in 1931. Three years later, he was one of the contributors to Eugène Merle's satirical magazine Merle Blanc. He was a caricaturist for Marcel Déat's pro-German magazine L'Ouvre during World War II. After the war, he was present in several political and satirical magazines like Le Parisien Libéré, Carrefour and Le Canard Enchaîné. He was one of the artists working on the French newspaper comic 'Zoé, Enfant Terrible' in alternation with Jo Carbi, Ange-Michel and its creator Michel Douay. The strip ran exclusively in Le Parisien Libéré from 1949 to 1974.
