Born in Iquitos, Hernan Bartra was the author of 'Boquellanta', that appeared on the comics pages of Última Hora from September 1952. His most famous creation was 'Coco, Vicuñin y Tacachito', a popular comic of which the three main characters represented the three regions of Peru. It appeared in Avanzada from June 1953. In the mid-1960s, he created 'Manyute' in Expreso. |
