Parisian artist Michel Motti was a drawing teacher before he turned to creating comics. He started out doing 'Gil Gaboulet' and 'Le Petit Roi Ibello' for the Société Parisienne de l'Édition in 1960. The latter series was continued in Spirou under the name 'Le Petit Roy Prosper' starting in 1965. For this magazine, he also created the series 'Nicolas et Nicolette'. In 1969, he started a collaboration with the magazine Pif Gadget, where he joined the production team of the series 'Pif le Chien' and 'Placid et Muzo', both created by Arnal.
In addition, Motti wrote 'Réhac' for Henri Dufranne in Tintin. In 1978, he started working for the French Disney production, creating stories with Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and others, mostly published in Le Journal de Mickey. In 1983, he cooperated with Yannick on the advertising comic 'Échec à Follebul' at Malabar, and on 'La Morgueluse' in Pif.
