Michel Nadorp is an artist with the Dutch Disney art studio. He started his career in 1979 as an apprentice to Fred Julsing, who taught him the finer points of the profession. In this period, Michel drew his first, unpublished, comic, 'Kick en de Onderwereld'. Julsing recommended Michel to the Dutch Disney editors in 1980. He started out drawing covers for Donald Duck and the now-defunct Mickey Maandblad.
Since then, Nadorp's main activity has been drawing covers and posters. His work has become a trademark for the many Dutch Disney publications. Nearly all the covers for the pocket books are Michel's and his art regularly graces the covers of the weekly Donald Duck and the monthly Donald Duck Extra.

His cover art has been reused for foreign Disney publications and Michel has also contributed exclusive cover illustrations to Aku Ankka Ekstra in Finland and Walt Disney's Comics and Stories in the USA.
However, Nadorp has also made an occasional comic story, starring characters like Donald Duck, Dombo, Goofy or Mickey Mouse. Together with Jos Beekman, he has set up popular sections like 'Mickey Lost 't Op' and 'Goofy Geeft Les'.
In addition to his work for Disney, Michel Nadorp has drawn a 'Spiderman' story for the 1990/1991 Superhero pocket calendar, as well as the gag strip 'Max!' in Hitkrant magazine from 1996 to 1999 (with text by Frans Hasselaar).
