George O'Connor is an artist from Brooklyn. He is the author of several picture books, including 'Kapow!' (2007), 'Ker-Splash' and' Sally and the Some-thing' (2006). His debut graphic novel, 'Journey into Mohawk Country', was published by First Second in 2006. |

It was followed by the futuristic story 'Ball Peen Hammer' in 2009. O'Connor's next project is 'The Olympians', a series of graphic novels for young readers about Greek Mythology. |
