Broncho Bill (1940)
Harry F. O'Neill wrote and drew the 'Broncho Bill' newspaper strip from 1928 to 1950. The feature started under the name 'Young Buffalo Bill', then under the title 'Buckaroo Bill', until it gots its final name in 1932.
The strip was syndicated by United Features and was also reprinted in comic books like Sparkler and Tip Top Comics. A Sunday page was added in 1932, including a companion strip about circus acrobat 'Bumps', which was a reflection of O'Neill's own early life.
