Hiroya Oku was born in the Fukuoka-prefecture in 1968. He won the second prize of the Youth Manga Awards in 1988, under the penname Yahiro Kuon. He has had several mangas serialized on Young Jump, such as 'Hen' ('Strange'), his longest series, 'Gantz' and the futuristic 'Zero One'. |
