Charles Peattie studied painting at St Martin's School of Art. During the early 1980s he worked as a portrait painter, freelance cartoonist and designer of greetings cards. He produced the legendary 'Dick' cartoon with Mark Warren in Melody Maker. With Russell Taylor, he created the famous 'Alex' cartoon strip, as well as the 'Celeb' cartoon in Private Eye. Peattie is also doing comedy scriptwork for television. |
