Malena, by Salomon Grundig

Carlos Pedrazzini, who has mainly worked anonymous, has been active in the comics field since the 1970s. He drew among others 'L'Invincible Armata' in Serie Fantasy and in publications of the publishing houses Record and Columba, where he continued Garcia Seijas' series 'Skorpio', 'Mandy Riley' and presumably also 'Helena'. For Fierro, he did 'La Batalla de las Malvinas' with Ricardo Barreiro in 1984. Pedrazzini was also present in the Italian magazines Skorpio and LancioStory and did pornographic stories under the signature Salomon Grundig. In the early 1990s, he began the series 'Munro' with scriptwriter Robin Wood in Skorpio. Afterwards, in the mid-1990s, he joined the 'Drago' art team. In late 1996, he made the miniseries 'Magicamerica' for LancioStory with Ferrari, and then disappeared from the scene.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
