Srdjan Nikolić Peka is a Serbian (press) illustrator and comic artist. He was born in Mrves, but resides in Leskovac. He majored in graphic design from the School of Arts in Nis. Peka edited the comics magazine Arsenal, and published his work in a variety of local magazines. Among his published works are stories like 'Payne', 'Lethal Heritage', 'Robinson Crusoe', 'Rapunzel' and 'Cat and Mouse'. He was a teacher with Nikola Mitrovic's comics school in Leskovac was was president of the jury at the Balkan cartoon festival. Since 2013, he has been working with the Belgian writer Michel Dufranne on the historical adventure series 'O.D.E.SS.A.', that is published by Casterman.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
