Antonio Pérez Barrera drew the comic strip 'El príncipe Dani' for Rin-tin-tin by Editorial Marco in the 1960s. He is most likely the artist behind the signature A. Pérez, who drew for other comics published by Marco and Toray in the 1960s, such as 'Simba-Kan, Rey de los Leones', 'Alerta' and 'Sioux'.

Pérez Barrera was the illustrator of the comic adaptation of Mayne Reid's 'Safari en el País de las Sombras' for the Bruguera collection 'Joyas Literarias Juveniles' in 1975 (script by José Antonio Vidal Sales). In the 1980s, the name of A. Pérez appeared in the German horror comic book Gespenster Geschichten, published by Bastei Verlag.

For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service.
