Keats Petree did comic book art on such titles as 'The Lone Ranger' (Dell/Western, 1949-1954), 'Girl Friday' and 'Sally the Sleuth' (Trojan, 1951-1952). From 1953 to 1956, he worked on the daily 'Nick Halliday' strip. He was best known for his pulp heroine 'Queenie Starr', who appeared in Spicy Detective Stories. |
