Stephanie Piro was born in New York and studied at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. She started her Strip T's Design Company in 1984, marketing her T-shirt collection. She is one of the six female comic artist who make the newspaper strip 'Six Chix'. Each woman draws the strip on a different day (Stephanie on Saturday) and they alternate on Sundays. Stephanie Piro also makes a daily cartoon panel, 'Fair Game', which appears in newspapers throughout the USA. Her work has been collected in 'Men! Ha!' and 'Caffeinated Cartoons'.
