Peter Plant was born in Toronto, Canada in 1958 and moved to London, England in 1982. For several years he worked as a copywriter in a large advertising agency and then as a free-lance jingle writer while simultaneously drawing cartoons of the life he saw around him.
It resulted in 3 strips: 'Flash Filstrup', about a professional artist-exposeur, 'Maggie and Mole', about two flat-sharing career girls, and 'The Commuters', about a pair of high-flying city solicitors. Peter Plant then became a full-time cartoonist and created his best-known strip, 'Bogart', the adventures of a working girl and her cat, which has been published in the Daily Mail and Sunday Times.
His cartoons have been published in several languages, and have appeared in newspapers and magazines all over the word. He now lives in Hampshire, in the south of England, with his family.
