Richard van de Pol cooperated on the GAG and Coyote fanzines in the 1980s. He is a freelance illustrator, cartoonist, advertising artist and logo artist. He illustrated several of the advertising comics in the series 'Jules en Ollie, Stedenstrips' for Concept publishers.

For the same publisher, he drew the seasonal comic album 'De Sint en het Cybercomplot' in 1999. He is a regular contributor to the girls' magazine Tina and is the illustrator of among others the 'ZOOP' strip.
