Travis by Christophe Quet
Travis #9 (2009)

Christophe Quet began his studies in interior decorating, then switched to a study of literature, with a focus on cinema. Although he didn't complete his studies, he started doing illustrations for scouting magazines. More attracted to an American style of comic drawing, he sent some of his work to the monthly magazine Casus Belli, where it was noticed by Vatine and Blanchard.

He eventually teamed up with writer Fred Duval to create the series 'Travis' for Delcourt in 1997. Quet also does the storyboards for the series 'Hauteville House', that is also written by Duval and drawn by Thierry Gioux for Delcourt since 2005.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
