Closer Than We Think, by Arthur Radebaugh

Arthur Radebaugh was a Detroit illustrator, known for his futuristic illustrations. He drew a weekly futuristic panel called 'The Future We Were Promised' which ran in newspapers from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. His illustrations appeared in a variety of media, such as Motor Magazine, car catalogs and advertisements. Between 1958 and 1962, his Sunday comic strip 'Closer Than We Think' showed visions of everyday life in the future. Radebaugh has also worked as a designer for the US Army, and is furthermore known for his experiments with fluorescent paint under black light.
