The career of Guy Servais (Raives) is closely tied to that of Éric Warnauts. Their collaboration started when Warnauts wrote two volumes of 'Paris-Perdu' for him. Afterwards, Raives and Warnauts made a joint oeuvre, both doing artwork and scenarios. They started out this line of work with the series 'Lou Cale', followed by several stories for À Suivre ('Congo 40', 'L'Envers des Rêves', 'Lettres d'Outremer'). For Casterman, they created 'Les Suites Vénitiennes' in 1996, followed by 'Un Diamant sous la Lune'. In 1999, Raives and Warnauts teamed up with scenarist Michel Vandam to produce 'Kin' la Belle'.
