Charles Reese was an artist working for the New York Herald around 1902. He drew several one-shot comics, including 'Tommy Tape Visits His Native Town After an Absence of Ten Years in New York', 'A Kind Act and its Reward', 'A Prize Pumpkin Crop', 'The Wig Wag Code at Jayville' and 'Drowsy Dick's Dime Novel Dream'.
