Vivie Risto

Vivie Risto, an artist for Finnish origins, was a funny animal artist at Dell/Western from 1942 to 1964. His Disney credits include a couple of 'Duck' stories, but his main output was 'Bucky Bug' stories.

He also worked with Warner Bros characters ('Bugs Bunny', 'Beaky Buzzard', 'Elmer Fudd' and 'Henerey Hawk'), Walter Lantz characters ('Homer Pigeon', 'Chilly Willy'), MGM Character ('Wuff the Prairie Dog') and Hanna-Barbera characters ('Flintstones', 'Snooper & Blabber'). In addition to his comics work, Vivie Risto has been an animator at Fleischer, Terrytoons, Warner Bros and Hanna-Barbera.
