Peter Rogiers is a Flemish sculptor. He initially wanted to become a comic artist while attending art school. His work was discovered by Antwerp gallery owner Annette de Keyser in the early 1990s, and his work has been exhibited in the Flanders area, as well as LA, since. Rogiers' work is influenced by Francis Bacon, Franz West and Picasso, as well as cult comics, underground culture and B-movies. In 2012 he made his first comic strip, 'The Hunger: Snowman vs Squid', a story referring to TV soaps, superheroes and his own sculptures.
