Lucien Rollin studied political science, and after that, art in Rennes. Here, he became a teacher for two years. In 1971, he made his comic debut with 'Nébulo' in the fanzine Zinograph. After years of publishing in several magazines, he made his professional breakthrough in 1982, with the appearance of his first album 'Orage sur Valdor'. In 1989, from a scenario by Pierre Dubois, he created the heroic-fantasy saga 'Le Torte', and in 1997, with the same writer, 'Saskia des Vagues'. A year later, he launched the series 'Ombres'.
