Milan K by Corentin Rouge
Milan K

Corentin Rouge was born in Paris as the son of comic artist Michel Rouge. He is named after Cuvelier's famous comic book hero, and this is also the name he uses to sign his work. Corentin studied animation and film at the Academy of Decorative Arts in Paris, and published his first comic story in Métal Hurlant in 2003. He learned the comics profession with the aid of his father, whom he has assisted on the coloring of series like 'Shimon de Samarie' and 'Le Samaritain' since 2005. He made his album debut together with writer Sam Timel with the detective series 'Milan K', that is published by Les Humanoïdes Associés since 2009.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
