Francisco Ruiz Velasco began his comics career in his native country in the mid-1990s. In the late 1990s, he founded Studio F, a computer coloring atelier. In 2000, he made his debut in the USA with the limited series 'BattleGods', which he created himself and was published by Dark Horse. He then embarked on series like 'Lone Wolf 2100' and 'Thunderbolts', for which he did interior artwork and colors. He also did 'El Diablo: Tales of Sanctuary', a single issue based on the video game.
