Michael Sagikwa is a self-taught comics artist in Morogoro, who has been working with Katti Ka-Batembo between 1996 and 1999. Sagikwa participated in the 1996 TAPOMA workshop in Morogoro and has been a professional comics artist since. Just like Katti Ka-Batembo, he has mostly illustrated campaign comics, such as 'Wakulima Tuelimishane' (a campaign for farmers) and campaign about AIDS. He is also active as an illustrator for books and magazines. |
