Antonio Sarchione was born in 1969 in Italy. As a youngster, he developed a passion for comics. He studied at the art school in Vasco, and subsequently at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino, where he studied painting. He published several comics in Italy, such as Star Comics, Hammer 10 (1994), before moving to France. In 2006, his first album, 'Fédération', appeared at publisher Soleil. In the same year, he caught the attention of David Chauvel from Delcourt Publishers, who asked him to work on 'C.O.P.S.' and later the series 'Casus'.
