Sylvain Savoia met Jean-David Morvan and Christian Lerolle in 1985. Together, they worked for the fanzine Hors-Gabarit and they went to study at the Saint-Luc in Brussels in 1988. Savoia lived in Belgium for three years, cooperating on the magazines Zygus and Jet. Together with Morvan, he created the western 'Reflets Perdus' at Zenda. This was followed by the 'Nomad' saga, that appeared at Glénat. In 2003, they began the series 'Al'Togo' at Dargaud.
