Thomas Schiewer was raised in Hennigsorf, near Berlin. A comics fan since early childhood, he had an apprenticeship in ceramics and started working in this field in Velten in 1990. Afterwards, he went to work for Hethke-Verlag, where he inked comics like 'Sigurd' and 'Nick'. He is character artist for Mosaik since 1998. He draws most of the main 'Abrafaxe' characters and has created side-characters like 'Milos Petroviç' and 'Michel Ranvie'. |
