The Swiss artist Karoline Schreiber studied at the art academy in Bern. Inspired by a comic-loving teacher, she applied herself to comics. In the early nineties, she created several comic stories with her friend and writer Martin Glauser. In 1993, she co-founded the comic-underground magazine Gangloff. In 1995, she received a stipendium for a stay in Krakow, Poland. Between 1997 and 1999, she lived in New York. Applying herself more and more to illustration work, she now lives in Zürich. |
