Andreas Schulze studied Philosophy, and began his career working as a lay-out man and background painter for Hahn-Film. In 1998, he joined the team of Mosaik magazine, also mainly as background artist. He has cooperated on the 'Abrafaxe' one-pager in the Berliner Kurier, the 'Congo' album and the 'Abrafaxe' books. For 'Flucht unter Palmen' and 'Die Macht dees Pluritan' he was also author. He is background artist for Mosaik from the beginning of the second 'Japan' series.
