Mongol's Demons

Gilad Seliktar is an Israeli illustrator and comic artist. Seliktar graduated at 2005 from the Department of Graphic Design at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. His first book, 'Who Are You Anyway', was published in 2005, deals with questions of identity, and the ownership over the work of art. 'Mongol's Demons' has been published in Israel by The Third Ear in 2008, and in France by Artrablie in 2009.

Seliktar illustrated books for children, and published comics and illustrations in most of Israel's daily newspapers, youth and children magazines, cinema and television. Seliktar was one of the prominent contributors to the Israeli comics anthology 'Blender' and to the art magazine Masmerim. Together with his sister, the textwriter Galit Seliktar, he created the graphic novel 'Farm 54', that was chosen as one of the best comics at the 2009 Angoulême Festival in France. Seliktar is also a teacher with the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jersusalem.

Series and books by Gilad Seliktar in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
