Dace Sietina

Dace Sietina, who also publishes under the name Nolandhead, was born in Latvia in the small town of Jelgava. She grew up in Kalnciems and moved to The Netherlands with her daughter to live with her husband in 2003. Dace graduated from the Willem de Koning Academy in Rotterdam as an illustrator in 2009.

In her work, she often draws inspiration from her childhood. She has published in the Latvian magazine (ku)s! since 2009. She contributed the cartoon series 'Letten' to the Latvian newsportal TVNET.lv. She self-published the mini-comic 'Life is a bitch' in 2009 and her comics and illustrations have been published in Holland in STIK 20, Van Speijk, NHM and R'uit magazine.
