Inspired by the initiative of Rocha Vieira, José Jaime Silva Monteiro started a series of daily comics in 1922: 'Les Aventuras de Antoninho'. This series was published in the educational section of the Catholic journal A Época. He also contributed to magazine Os Ridículos, for which he drew almost all the front pages between 1910 and 1920. |
