After completing his studies in Plastic Arts, Jérôme Simon went to the Sint-Lukas Institute in Brussels for two and a half years, where he followed courses in comics. His 'Elend' series was created for a fanzine, but has been published in albums at Delcourt since August 2001. In this comic, Simon refers to classical heroic-fantasy themes, without using clichés. |
