Mongo Sisé is an African artist who lives and works in Belgium. Born in Kinshasha, he is a graduate in Fine Arts. Strongly inspired by Hergé, he started out with the series 'Mata Mata et Pili Pili'. African culture and history always remained the key elements of his comics. From 1981 to 1984, he illustrated four comic albums with the character 'Bingo' for the Belgian A.B.O.S. (the PR department for devolopment cooperation). |
