Michael Sloan

Michael Sloan spent several years working as a printmaker in Paris, France and Venice, Italy before moving to New York City in 1989. His illustrations first appeared on the Op-Ed page of The New York Times, where he remains a frequent contributor to the Letters column.

Michael is the creator of the 'Professor Nimbus' graphic novels and comics. His book 'The Heresy of Professor Nimbus' was awarded a silver medal from the Society of Illustrators 49th Annual Exhibit. 'The Redemption of Professor Nimbus', the most recent book in the series, was published in 2009. His comics have appeared in The Comics Journal, published by Fantagraphics. His three-panel comic strip 'The Zen of Professor Nimbus' appears on tor.com.
