Bliksembezoek (from: Zone 5300)
André Slob, who signs much of his work with simply "É", was trained as an art teacher at the ZWN in Delft and in graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam. He worked as a web designer for five years, before turning to the drawing pen. He makes illustrations for magazines like Humo, Shambhala Sun, Buddhadharma and Ode, and works with Wouter Eizenga on comics like 'Onder de brandende zon' for Zone 5300. Slob has spent long periods abroad; he has lived in India, Spain, Norway and Angola.
