Empire of Ants
Milton Sobreiro was born in Cruzeiro, Brasil. After studies in art, he dabbled in several jobs, including drawing maps for the Brazilian air force and designing stained glass windows for churches in the 1950s. Since the 1960s, he had a successful career as an advertising creative director, painter and editorial illustrator, before starting to work on comics, in the mid 2000s.

He has made several short science-fiction, fantasy and horror comics, published in several issues of Heavy Metal Magazine, BOOM! Studios' Cthulhu Tales and Zombie Tales, as well as Image Comics' Popgun Anthology. As of 2010 he is involved in the creation of a couple of full-length graphic novels and new short comics.
