Mister Macak

Robert Solanović began his career as an inker for the comic 'Svebor i Plamena 'by Darko Macan and Goran Sudžuka. His first professional assignment was on the strip 'Sašin dnevnik', that was written by Darko Macan. The children's magazine Prvi izbor began publishing Solanovic's original work in 1999, including the comic 'Mister Mačak'. His comics simultaneously appeared in Modra Lasta magazine, while he also worked as inker for comics created by Edvin Biuković and Goran Sudžuka for the US publishing house DC Comics. Since 2003 his works have been regularly published in the Croatian comic magazine Q, for which he creates the series 'Slatka' (under the pseudonym Leo Müller) and 'Kljunovi' (under the pseudonym Alf & Hitch), both in cooperation with scriptwriter Darko Macan.

Series and books by Robert Solanovic in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
