Soloúp, pseudonym of Antonis Nikolopoulos, was born in 1966 in Athens. He studied political science, and started publishing comics in magazine Babel in 1989. He became a permanent contributor to Sunday newspaper To Bima in 1995 and several albums with his comics were published, such as 'Cyclops' (first published as 'Big Brother' in 2001. Soloúp also worked as an illustrator for numerous magazines and created children's books.
