Anders Sørensen was an artist of Disney comics for the Danish publisher Gutenberghus in the 1970s. He has illustrated 'Duck' and 'Mouse' stories, but he is best known for his work on 'Goofy'. He was an animator on various Danish feature films of the 1970s and 1980s: Bennys Badekar (1971), Prins Piwi (1974), Trællenes Oprør (1979), Trællenes Børn (1980), Samson & Sally (1984), Strit & Stumme (1987). He headed his own studio Tegnedrengene in the 1970s.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
