Gavin Spielman made his comics debut in 1995 after teaming up with Brian Wood to create the 'Junkfood City' anthology. By himself, he started producing the auto-biographical comic 'City Comix'. A professional oil painter, Gavin is an instructor at Parsons School of Design's Illustration Department. He lives with his wife and daughter in the East Village of New York City.
