Knut Stangenberg studied in Uppsala in the late 1800s. He quit his study in favor of drawing. He was employed by the magazine Allt for Alla, for which he created the family comic 'Skonsbloms and Fridolf Celinder', which was declared Sweden's most popular comic in 1910.
