The Catalan artist Manuel Subirats Puell, also known as Ferrer, began his career drawing for El Tarlà (Girona). He contributed to TBO and the Toray collection Novelas Gráficas Clásicas and drew 'Los 4 Ye-Yes' in cooperation with Cubero (1966). He has mainly worked as an agency artist for the French and German market, drawing among others the comics version of 'Maya the Bee' ('Die Biene Maja', Bastei). |
