Yu-Gioh! by Kazuki Takahashi

Kazuki Takahashi is a mangaka for the magazine Shônen Jump, and the author of 'Yu-Gi-Oh', a series about a troubled schoolboy who can turn into the "King of Games". Born in Tokyo, Takahashi began his career in 1982. He published his first mangas, 'Tokio no Tsuma' and 'Tennenshokudanji Buray', in the early 1990s. He created 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' in 1996, and the popularity of the series led to three anime versions, two spin-off mangas ('Yu-Gi-Oh! R', illustrated by Akira Itou, and 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX', illustrated by Naoyuki Kageyama), several video games, as well as a real-life version of the card game featured in the comic.

Series and books by Kazuki Takahashi in stock in the Lambiek Webshop:

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.

If you want to help us continue and improve our ever- expanding database, we would appreciate your donation through Paypal.
