Miou Takaya began working as a mangaka when she dropped out of her philosophy study. She did illustration work and self-published comics under her own Newm;Kz label. Her first professional job was 'Nansou Satomi Hakkenden' in 1991. She has published collections like 'Beauty Equation' (1997) and 'Tengoku-Kyo' (2001), and contributed to magazines like Craft and Comickers. Among her larger serials are 'Kikaijikake no Ousama' ('King of Mechanics', 2000) and 'Seisho-Zu' ('Map of Sacred Pain', 2001). |
