David Benjamin Tendlar is best known for his animation work from the 1930's through the 1970's. He worked as a director and animator for Fleischer, Famous, Terrytoons, and finally Hanna-Barbera. He also made comics, for instance for Jingle Jangle Comics in the mid-1940's and for Harvey's Paramount Animated Comics in the 1950's, which featured comics with Famous' animation characters 'Huey', 'Herman & Katnip' and 'Buzzy the Crow'. |
