Maurizio di Bona, who is best known under his pen name theHand, is a self made cartoonist, born in Napoli. He has been drawing since he was a kid, but devoted himself to comics at age 30. Prior to his comics activities, he worked for web/advertising agencies as creative and webdesigner for four years. He created a political/satirical magazine called Alkemik. He designed the official merchandise for the Irish band The Cranberries. His best known comics work is the ground barking graphic novel on Giordano Bruno, called 'The Nolan is Back'. He works for L'Ateo with the strip 'Ereticomix' and for Parcondicio with political satirical strips.
